2022 Season Schedule

Entry Fees, Contest Rules, Species and Payouts vary from lake to lake and from week to week. Watch The NWMI Fishing Club’s Facebook page or website for up-to-date contest details every week. All event changes will be at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

FEBRUARY:

Sat and Sun, 19&20FEB (Free Fishing Weekend) – Interlochness #6: Open to the Public. John Ratcliffe is the lead, 3 county ice or open water tournament. 5 divisions paying 3 places each division. Registration at Long Lake Grocery. $20 per division.

APRIL:

Fri and Sat, 22&23APR, Kalkaska Trout Festival, Kid’s Fishing Pond – Mike/Tim Lead
MAY:
Wed, 04MAY, Lake Cadillac/Mitchell – Mike/Spanky Lead, lines in from 6-9pm, Registration begins at 5pm.  Heaviest 1-man bag of crappie. At least one person in each boat must be a member.  Membership sign-up ($20 per year) available at registration.
Wed, 11MAY, Long Lake – Tim Lead, Lines in 6-10pm, registration begins at 5pm at the Crescent Shores Launch, be in line at the launch to take out no later than 1015pm.
Heaviest 1 (one) Walleye wins.  We will pay out the top 3 places (75% of purse, 50/30/20).
Heaviest 1 (one) non-walleye species pays 1st place (25% of purse)
Everyone receives a raffle ticket at registration for a chance at additional prizes at weigh in
$10 per person or $20 per boat entry fee, kid’s 16 and under free.
One member in each boat must be a club member ($20 annual membership fee available at registration)
Wed, 18MAY, Lake Leelanau – Matt Lead, Lines in 6-10pm, registration begins at 5pm at the Bingham Launch, be in line at the launch to take out no later than 1015pm.

Heaviest 1 (one) Walleye wins. We will pay out the top 3 places (75% of purse, 50/30/20).

Heaviest 1 (one) non-walleye species pays 1st place (25% of purse)

Everyone receives a raffle ticket at registration for a chance at additional prizes at weigh in

$10 per person or $20 per boat entry fee, kid’s 16 and under free.

One member in each boat must be a club member ($20 annual membership fee available at registration)

Wed, 25MAY, East Bay – Matt Lead, lines in from 6-930pm, registration begins at 5pm. Heaviest 1-man bag of lake trout. At least one person in each boat must be a member. Membership sign-up ($20 per year) available at registration.

Sat, 28MAY, Cisco in the Crisco – Open to the Public. Lines in from 9am to 1pm, heaviest 1-man bag of cisco (trophy award), open to public, all boats and fishermen welcome. Points will be accumulated by 10 points per fish and 1 point per pound. 2.5 points added for kid under 16. 2.5 points added for any female angler. (Maximum of 5 bonus points). Free Lunch will be served after the weigh in at 130pm.
JUNE:

Wed, 08JUN, Platte Lake – Tim Lead, Lines in 6-10pm, registration begins at 5pm at the Arborvitae Launch, be in line at the launch to take out no later than 1015pm.

Heaviest 1 (one) Walleye wins. We will pay out the top 3 places (75% of purse, 50/30/20).

Heaviest 1 (one) non-walleye species pays 1st place (25% of purse)

Sat, 11JUN, Lake Dubonnet Family Day – Open to the Public. Matt & Maxine Lead, 8-1130am, cook out at noon, heaviest mixed 1-man bag of panfish and/or pike (no bass). You can keep 5 pike with only 1 being over 24” long.

Wed, 15JUN, Lakes Cadillac/Mitchell, Spanky Lead - Lines in 6-10pm, registration begins at 5pm at the Kenwood Launch, be in line at the launch to take out no later than 1015pm.

Wed, 22JUN, Lake Missaukee – Mike Lead, Lines in 6-10pm, registration begins at 5pm at the Bingham Launch, be in line at the launch to take out no later than 1015pm.

Wed, 29JUN, Glen Lake – Matt Lead, lines in from 6-10pm, registration begins at 5pm. Heaviest Laker, longest perch. At least one person in each boat must be a member. Membership sign-up ($20 per year) available at registration.

JULY:

Wed, 13JUL, Lake Bellaire - Nick Wyskochil Lead, lines in from 6-10pm, registration starts at 5pm, heaviest walleye and heaviest non-walleye (no bass, no muskie). At least one person in each boat must be a member. Membership sign-up ($20 per year) available at registration.

Wed, 20JUL, Crystal Lake – Nick Wyskochil Lead, lines in from 6-930pm, registration starts at 5pm, heaviest 1 laker, heaviest 1 silver fish (coho, steelhead, brown, whitefish, cisco). At least one person in each boat must be a member. Membership sign-up ($20 per year) available at registration.

Wed, 27JUL, Frankfort – Open to the Public. Team Event, lines in from 6-10pm, must be in line for boat ramp at 1030, registration begins at 5pm. Heaviest 1-man bag of lakers (2), heaviest 1-man bag of either king or coho salmon (5) – this includes steelhead, and browns.

AUGUST:

Wed, 03AUG, Silver Lake – John Lead, lines in from 6-10pm, registration begins at 5pm, heaviest 1 walleye, and heaviest non-walleye. At least one person in each boat must be a member. Membership sign-up ($20 per year) available at registration.

Wed, 24AUG, East Bay – Mike and Nick lead, lines in from 6-10pm, registration begins at 5pm, heaviest 1-man bag of lakers, heaviest 1-man bag of salmon. At least one person in each boat must be a member. Membership sign-up ($20 per year) available at registration.

Wed, 31AUG, West Bay (Elmwood) – Nick lead, lines in from 6-10pm, registration begins at 5pm, heaviest 1-man bag of lakers, heaviest 1-man bag of salmon. At least one person in each boat must be a member. Membership sign-up ($20 per year) available at registration.

SEPTEMBER:

Sat, 17SEP, East Bay – Cisco in the Crisco Veteran’s Invitational, Matt Lead. Open to the Public. Lines in from 9am to 1pm, heaviest 1-man bag of cisco (trophy award), open to public, all boats and fishermen welcome. Points will be accumulated by 10 points per fish and 1 point per pound. 2.5 points added for kid under 16. 2.5 points added for any female angler. (Maximum of 5 bonus points). Free Lunch will be served after the weigh in at 130pm.
